I was born and raised in the five-college area of Western Massachusetts in a family of readers. After college, I went straight to grad school, earning a Masters in Library and Information Science because I knew I wanted to spend my days with books. Then I somehow spent more than a decade in the tech industry.
These days, when I’m not writing fiction, I work as a public librarian. I have the great pleasure of selecting fiction for the library’s collection, running a community writing group, and organizing library book clubs.
I live near Boston with my partner, daughters, and trusty writing companion.
